vRealize True Visibility Suite Compute and Storage Management Packs Available to All vRealize Operations Customers

With the upcoming release of vRealize True Visibility Suite, VMware will be entitling all vRealize Operations customers with access to the compute and storage management packs available within the suite. Previously, access to all of these management packs would require a license to the Advanced (Standard+) edition of vRealize True Visibility Suite.

Going forward, no additional license key will be required to install and use these management packs. After this upcoming release becomes generally available, you will be able to access the management packs by visiting the Customer Connect portal and looking for the vRealize Operations Management Packs for Compute and Storage. The included management packs support monitoring of the following compute and storage platforms:

These relationship-aware, agentless management packs will bring the visibility needed into the physical infrastructure that is supporting your SDDC. With the addition of hundreds of key performance metrics for physical compute and storage you will be able to dive deeper into your environment to optimize performance and eliminate bottlenecks.

With access to hundreds of out of the box dashboards, custom objects, alerts, and metrics you will be able to:

- Perform rapid root cause analysis with relationship-aware connections and identify the root cause of problems faster.
- Clear up alert storms with built-in policies that disable alerts for your dev environment and other less-critical resources.
- Deliver more value with a unified view from data center to applications and create a cohesive monitoring strategy.
